Terms of use
The agreement between you and NearMe Pets when you use the site.

Using NearMe Pets
You must be at least 13 to use NearMe Pets. Keep your account secure, and give accurate information, especially in missing and found reports, where accuracy helps reunite families.
Your content
You own the photos, stories, and memorials you post. You give us a licence to host and display them so the service can work. That includes sharing a missing-pet alert with local partners when you choose to broadcast it. You can delete your content at any time.
Community standards
Be kind. Do not post false reports, harass grieving families, sell animals, or use alerts to collect personal information. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.
Providers, sponsors, and referrals
Local businesses appear as verified members, sponsored listings, or public listings from open map data. They are clearly labelled. We may earn a referral fee or commission when you book or buy through a link, and this never changes the price you pay. We do not guarantee any provider’s services. Always use your own judgement, and contact a vet directly in an emergency.
Payments and Pet Projects
Premium features are billed as described at checkout. A published share of eligible platform revenue funds Pet Projects, and every contribution and distribution is recorded in the Impact Ledger. Direct donations pass through in full to the named partner charity.
Liability
NearMe Pets is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, or for the outcome of searches, reunions, or third-party services. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law.
Changes
If we make material changes to these terms, we will notify you by email or on the site before they take effect.
