Fuel, crates and drivers moving dogs from remote communities to adopters.
Senior animals wait longest in shelters, often because untreated dental disease and undiagnosed pain make them seem older and sicker than they are. A $120 dental cleaning can turn a “hard to place” dog into one who gets adopted in a week.
